Sandur í Aðaldal: Syngjandi Kanaduðra. Til og með 2006 hafði þessi tegund sést sex sinnum á Íslandi, þar af tvisvar að vori. Mývatn: Kúfönd. Hólmatjörn í Reykjadal: Hringönd. Vestmannsvatn: Skutulönd.

Bessastaðir í Steingrímsfirði: 2 kanadagæsir.
SV-land:

A singing Long-billed Dowitcher was discovered at Aðaldalur (NE). There were six records of this species up to and with 2006, two of them in spring. This is the first one seen singing in suitable habitat. A Common Coot at Höfn (SE). A Carrion Crow at Djúpivogur (SE). A singing Willow Warbler at Framnes/Nes (SE). Two Common Goldeneyes at Höfðabrekka/Mýrdalur (SE). A Lesser Scaup at Mývatn (NE). A Ring-necked Duck at Hólmatjörn/Reykjadalur (NE). A Common Pochard at Vestmannsvatn (NE). Two Canada Geese at Bessastaðir/Steingrímsfjörður (NW). A Pectoral Sandpiper and a Grey Heron at Elliðavatn/Reykjavík (SW).
